Professional Experience

Dr. Nicolas Vilchez completed his PhD at IRAP/CNRS (University of Toulouse) using Fermi Space Telescope, process its data and create data processing pipelines and monitoring the spacecraft. All in collaboration with the NASA. From 2010 to 2012 he served as postdoc on SPI X-rays space spectrometer. He recalibrated data and improved the accuracy of SPI. From 2012 to 2013, he moved at LPC2E/CNRS (University of Orleans) as software engineer to create a pipeline for dynamic spectrum generation using LOFAR Radio ground based interferometer (Telescope). From 2013 to 2016, before working at QEERI, he moved to the ASTRON Radio observatory in Netherlands, which is also the LOFAR headquarters, where he created new software and developed new techniques to improve the quality of radio images.
