Professional Experience

Dr. Khalid Al-Subai is the Senior Research Director of the Measurements Science and Analytics Division in QEERI, in addition to leading the Special Projects (Exoplanets) group.  In 1983, Dr. Al-Subai joined Ministry of Industry and in 1989 joined Qatar Petroleum where he spends over 23 years holding many positions at different departments from Petroleum Engineer to Manager of Reservoir Engineers. From 2009-2012 Dr. Alsubai was holding the position of Director of Research Coordination and Compliance at Qatar Foundation’s Research Division and since 2013 he is holding the Scientific Director of Special Projects in QEERI. Recently Dr. Alsubai has been promoted to Senior Research Director for System, Modeling, measurement science, special projects and Techology.
