Professional Experience

During his MSc in Radar systems at the national polytechnic school, (Algeria, 2000-2002), Dr. Aissa was involved as assistant for practical-Labs for graduates students. After his PhD graduation in 2010 (INRS-EMT, Canada), he joined MPB Technologies Inc., department of smart materials and sensors for space mission, as a scientist, following my NSERC fellowship. Brahim Aissa was heavily involved in the robotically fabrication of 3D microvascular self-healing composite for space debris mitigation, in close collaboration with Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal and University of Concordia, where he was serving as an invited researcher (2010-2014). On the other hand, his contributions to leadership include experience in training and supervising students, (7 PhD, 1 MSc and 4 summer school students), development of 21 active collaborations over 5 continents, and acting as Editor for 3 scientific journals and as a regular referee for 31 journals (APL, Carbon, etc.). Finally, since September 2014, he joined QEERI as a Senior Scientist where he works on developing hybrid organic composite materials for PV applications.
